Affiliate Trip Leader Requirements

🧭 Core Qualifications

• Must be nominated and approved by an owner of Wanderful Journeys
• Holds a valid passport (if international travel is involved)
• Has completed at least one trip as a participant with Wanderful Journeys (or equivalent experience)
• Willing and able to travel independently and manage group logistics
   
  🤝 Personal Qualities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm and professional under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Friendly, inclusive, and team-oriented
   
  🌍 Trip Leader Responsibilities
• Participate in pre-trip planning calls and communications
• Act as the on-the-ground liaison with local vendors and participants
• Keep track of traveler wellbeing, attendance, and group dynamics
• Lead group check-ins and guide daily logistics
• Handle minor conflicts or itinerary changes with professionalism
• Submit post-trip report and photos
• Promote the trip or travel club when appropriate (optional but encouraged)
   
  ✅ Certifications/Training (Optional but Encouraged)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Background in group facilitation, education, hospitality, or outdoor leadership
• Familiarity with Google Docs, WhatsApp, and online payment tools
